The Mortgage Choice Charity Foundation* (MCCF) has this week announced its National Partner as anti-bullying organisation, Dolly’s Dream.
Dolly’s Dream is committed to changing the culture of bullying through education and direct support to young people and families, which addresses the impact of bullying, as well as anxiety, depression and youth suicide.
The partnership will see franchisees from within the Mortgage Choice network contribute from each loan settled to Dolly’s Dream, supported by additional fundraising activities and a generous contribution from REA Group. Fundraising kicked off at the recent Mortgage Choice National Conference, where over $25,000 was raised in just three days through generous donations from our brokers, internal teams and partners; the auction of an original artwork by Cairns-based Indigenous artist Munganbana; and an exclusive event where attendees could spend time with some of our conference speakers.
Anthony Waldron, CEO Financial Services and Mortgage Choice, REA Group, said “The entire Mortgage Choice network is proud to be supporting the vital work Dolly’s Dream does to improve cyber safety and change the culture of bullying across Australia. Hundreds of our franchisees are committing portions of their settled loans to help Dolly’s Dream reach even more young people and families, particularly in regional and rural communities.”
Sally Sweeney, Head of Engagement, Dolly’s Dream, added “We are thrilled to be partnering with Mortgage Choice, who have already shown their incredible commitment to Dolly’s Dream at the recent national conference. The support from the Mortgage Choice Charity Foundation will help ensure that we can continue to deliver anti-bullying and cyber safety workshops in schools, provide access to our 24/7 Support Line, offer Mental Health First Aid training and enable our free cyber safety educational app for parents and carers.”
During the 2023 financial year, the MCCF donated over $346,000 to charities across Australia. In the 2024 financial year, as well as Dolly’s Dream, the MCCF will continue to support state-based charities, which are nominated by Mortgage Choice franchise owners.

Through combined voluntary contributions from our network, the Foundation delivers real impact to registered Australian charities focused on people, their needs, housing and financial literacy. We believe together we can make a greater impact than as individuals. The MCCF exists in both state and national capacities to broaden and deepen the Foundation’s reach. The Foundation committees are run and managed by the network (owners, loan writers and administration staff) and backed by REA Group.
