We have used Smartline (Bevan) several times now, and have always found him extremely patient and clear in delivering our options with regards to our financing arrangements.
Overall I was very happy with the service and outcome of my mortgage application. My only area for improvement would be to be more thorough on following up on emails - several of my my queries were unanswered and I had to follow up.

Bevan was recommended to us by friends several years ago when we were looking at purchasing our first home. He has looked after our homeloans ever since. Bevan continues to provide us timely and impartial advice on various loan products available to us.
Bevan spent several hours on a Sunday morning explaining options available to us for re-financing our mortgage.We had an action plan and Bevan had prepared many figures and options available however Michael and I changed our minds and Bevan's figures became obsolete. Bevan had to then re-calculated and re-assess our options. All that work was done and our finance settled 3 weeks ago. Bevan was extremely helpful and we have what we wanted.

Bevan sorted everything out despite tough scenario
Bevan was very patient and explained thoroughly our options and the positives and deltas of each. We were also impressed on his work ethic and the fact the he followed through on a fee issue, which resolved in us getting the money reimbursed.

Bevan was a great help throughout our recent move. Not only did he find the right mortgage for us with the sharpest rates, he went out of his way to ensure that our transaction went through without a hitch. He was in constant contact with our real estate agent, settlement agent and our new loan provider - often outside normal business hours - to make sure it all ran smoothly. Overall I was happy. My only gripe would be that I supplied a lot of information by email before our meeting but the email seemed to have been overlooked as he asked the same questions again at our meeting. After that I was very happy with how the whole refinance was followed up particularly as I myself was quite disorganised!
Bevan's advice and support in our loan arrangements over the last 5 years or so has been great and very much appreciated. He has always been available, understands our needs, quick to respond and done an excellent job in getting us the best deal going. Bevan and his support person, Craig did a fantastic job in recently setting our new loans. They dealt with a number of errors in the bank documentation and worked very hard to have the loan facilities in place in a timely way.
We haven't delt with Bevan often but we always will, because of his knowledge, experience and how comfortable he makes us feel through the whole process no matter how long it is between visits. He always keeps us well informed and really takes the pressure off us with anything to do with the process. A true professional.

Not much to add really. When I requested extra information on loan comparisons and for advice on which product fit our current situation best, I got it. I was impressed a few months ago when I was proactively informed that a new loan product was available that would save us money.
I believe that Bevan went above and beyond to assist us with our mortgage choices. He was recommended by a friend who had had a similar experience.
One thing i liked most was that Bevan always rang us back and if he was busy he asked craig to help him so we received our answers asap which is a wonderful thing as we are quite new to the investment game.
Bevan has been very courteous, and efficient in dealing with our mortgage application. Our only dissatisfaction was the advise with regard to the FHOG. The initial advise was incorrect - a mistake that has cost us dearly ($7000)- money we have had to borrow from family to cover this error.
Bevan provided an excellent service from our initial meeting. He was able to advise on the best bank offers to fit the loan that would suit me. He was able to advise on 'off set' accounts and other deals. Bevan was also able to support me in reading the 'fine print' on the loan and assisted in completing the bank and settlement agent paperwork.
