Mortgage Broker 

Kylie Highstead is passionate about helping her clients achieve their home ownership dreams and other life goals.

Kylie has been working in the lending industry since 2007, first in administration and then, following the completion of her Diploma in Financial Services (Mortgage Broking), as a mortgage broker.

Whether you’re a first home buyer, property investor or simply after a change, Kylie is committed to providing friendly, professional service to make the borrowing process as streamlined and fuss-free as possible.

‘I take a client-focused approach, listening to their needs and providing clear, easy-to-understand and honest lending advice,’ she says. ‘I believe the most important factor when arranging a loan for people is to maintain high-level communication between all parties – clients, agents, conveyancers, etc. It’s also important that my clients feel they can trust my advice on lending matters.’

With extensive knowledge and experience, Kylie is well-equipped to find the loan product most suited to each client’s needs, even if this means looking outside the box. ‘If there’s a way, I’ll find it,’ she says, adding that she provides long-term customer support to ensure a loan continues to perform well across its lifetime: ‘We’re with you from your initial appointment until your loan is paid off.’

Kylie can assist with all types of loans, including home, investment or business loans, and asset finance and is fully mobile if required.

Loans Administrator 

As our Loans Administrator, Valda is committed to ensuring every client receives a highly personalised and responsive service.

Her primary responsibilities include managing the administrative load – including settlements, documentation and applications – and supporting Kylie, Nicole and all clients with regular updates and proactively attending to requests and queries.

‘Customer service is important to me as I believe if you give the client a good experience, this will always produce further business and promote the business’s brand,’ Valda says.

Valda has worked in the finance industry for over 30 years and has held a variety of roles including teller, personal banker, home loan specialist, branch manager, business associate and business banking manager. 

Career highlights include championing the NAB Schools First Indigenous program and being nominated for NAB Business Banker of the Year twice in Darwin and Adelaide during her time with the bank. Valda is also a representative for Women in Business Darwin.
