As someone who was brand new to buying a house, maybe an overview of the entire process would be good. This would take away part of the anxiety on my part. Other than that, a great experience with prompt communication.

Sam was very personable. If this can remain confidential, but I would have preferred the information explained to me in written form (eg - loan type and benefit of this type of loan, what loan we ended up signing into - I was under the impression we had a P&I loan, but ours is interest only and a few other pointers) - as I learn by visual cues, not auditory, which I assume Sam is, so I guess I must have misheard some of the above info. Otherwise Sam left us with a lovely gift and overall, I am happy with her service.

Samantha was great all the way through. There were some hitches towards the end with the valuation process, where I would have appreciated exploring some other options, but I appreciate time was limited at this stage and otherwise I was very happy with her service.

Samantha is very contactable & is pleasant to work with - however Samantha suggested a loan that did not meet our brief & did not disclose this. It was only days prior to settlement that this became apparent when we received loan p/work. There was also a bug discrepancy in repayment figures quoted by Sam & the payment figures quoted by bank. It was not made clear to us that the fixed rate figures Sam quoted to us could go up or down up until settlement day. The Fixed rate we finished with, coupled with the higher (and increasing variable rate) from ANZ left us feeling very dissatisfied with Sam's recommendation.I have dealt with Sam previously & felt that when I ask pertinent questions that Sam tries to "gloss over" specific details which is extremely frustrating and creates a feeling a mistrust. It did appear that Sam had a lot of loans going through at once - so I do wonder if this impacted on the service we received.

Sam was so helpful and in such a stressful time she always had time to go out of her way and listen to me and advise me. She was like a councillor . She also got the most amazing loan deal that I could not have matched anywhere else. I had tried at a number of banks but they would not lend me anywhere near the amount that she was able to get for me from ANZ. She also got me a great interest rate and I felt very much supported in an area I have no experience.

10 is a high number, but our broker Sam Cranny deserves it, because she went above and beyond. She was faced with an exceedingly difficult task, as I left my well paid salaried job in February this year to start my own business. Sam was relentless in getting documentation proving that my track record and early incoming revenue was deserved of our loan amount, and she also was straight up that she needed to be convinced before she could take it to the bank; that is, she was politely pointing out that we shouldn't bite off more than we can chew, which we took on board. Once she was convinced, we were updated regularly with progress, with requests for additional documentation. After an update from Sam, a few days later I had a 'win' and emailed it to her, she rang straight away and said that this was perfect and will clinch the deal, and one week later our loan was approved. Sam was passionate, honest, and extremely knowledgeable on who provides what. We have a great offset account with Homeside and a very manageable mortgage. We are delighted with the result and will happily recommend Sam to all of our friends and networks.
Samantha was absolutely brilliant in getting my first mortgage through. I had a difficult loan that was needed in a short period of time due to developers finishing a lot earlier than what was planned for. Samantha went above and beyond what any other broker or bank could have offered, while keeping me fully informed of what was happening and my options all through the process.
